Flexible Plan's Principled Investing Gives Back to Over 100 Organizations on Behalf of Its Clients

BLOOMFIELD HILLS, Mich., Jan. 23, 2015 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Flexible Plan Investments, Ltd. (FPI), a leading provider of active investment management solutions, has announced the annual distribution of its Principled Investing Give Back payments. Payments have been made to 100 religious organizations elected through the faith-based investment strategy Faith Focused Investing and 9 charities elected through the socially responsible investment strategy For A Better World on behalf of clients invested in these strategies.

"Putting one's 'money where their mouth is' is a precept underlying Principled Investing. As an advisor who offers both faith-based and socially responsible separately managed accounts, we wanted to emulate our clients and offer the Give Back program," says Jerry Wagner, president and founder of Flexible Plan Investments.

Launched in 2011, Flexible Plan's Principled Investing Give Back program provides clients who invest in either strategy the option to direct FPI to pay out, in the investor's name or anonymously, 10% of its net advisory fees collected to a client-designated charity, church, or religious institution. With its third year of distributions, the program has continued to increase payment distributions—this year by over 10%.

Principled Investing has become an increasingly popular investment option. Flexible Plan, with its Principled Investing management strategies – For A Better World and Faith Focused Investing – added a new dimension by introducing the "pay it forward" concept and give back program. Clients can use active management to seek to achieve their investment goals without compromising their principles while giving back to the organization of their choosing.
