Skanska constructs office building with parking house in Norway, for NOK 295 M, about SEK 320 M


Skanska has signed a contract with Det Norske Veritas Eiendom AS to build an
office building and a parking house at Høvik outside of Oslo, Norway. The
contract is worth about NOK 295 M in total, about SEK 320 M, which will be
included in order bookings for Skanska Norway for the first quarter of 2015.
The new 10,000 square meter office building will be built as a passive house and
holds the ambition of BREEAM NOR “Excellent”.

The contract also includes the refurbishment of 800 square meters of an existing
office building on the premises.

Work will begin in January 2015 and is scheduled to be completed November 4,
2016.

Skanska Norway focuses on construction and civil engineering operations. The
unit has approximately 4,500 employees. In 2013, Skanska Norway reported revenue
of SEK 14.3 billion. In Norway, Skanska is also active in the development of
residential, commercial properties and public private partnerships (PPP)
