HOUSTON, Jan. 27, 2015 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- The Coastal Flow Measurement family of companies today announced that Jayson Payne has been promoted to the position of Vice President of Digital Operations. Mr. Payne has been with Coastal Flow for 16 years, working in a variety of gas measurement positions involving management, customer service, and technical support activities. Most recently, as iMeasurement Manager, he has spearheaded the seamless integration of all company measurement functions while also directing field technicians and internal IT operations, and he's been instrumental in the development and rapid growth of the BirdDog™ Information Systems division.
In his new role as VP of Digital Operations, Mr. Payne will be responsible for coordinating the company-wide deployment and use of all digital information systems, while continuing to lead IT and field services and remaining integrally involved with BirdDog Information Systems. As the industry, in general, and Coastal Flow, in particular, rapidly moves to ever more advanced digital oilfield operations, the timely and cost-effective use of information technologies will be integral to ensuring that the company remains an innovative technical pacesetter and profitable business leader.

He is a degree holder in Computer Science and has successfully completed numerous industry certifications and advanced technical training curricula. Mr. Payne will continue to work from Coastal Flow's corporate headquarters in Houston.
