Skanska improves highway in California, USA, for USD 93 M, about SEK 640 M


Skanska in joint venture with Teichert Company has signed as contract with the
California Department of Transportation (Caltrans) to improve state route 58
near Hinkley, California. The total contract is worth USD 116 M, about SEK 800
M, and Skanska USA Civil will include its full 80 percent share of the project –
USD 93 M, about SEK 640 M – in order bookings for the first quarter of 2015.
The project includes 15 kilometers of highway realignment and two bridge
overcrossing structures.

Substantial construction will begin in May 2015 with completion scheduled for
December 2016.
