Zafgen Announces Closing of Public Offering of Common Stock and Full-Exercise of Option to Purchase Additional Shares

(Nasdaq:ZFGN) today announced the closing of its underwritten public offering of 3,942,200 shares of its common stock at a price of $35.00 per share before underwriting discounts, which includes the full-exercise of the underwriters' option to purchase an additional 514,200 shares of common stock at the public offering price, less the underwriting discounts.

Leerink Partners LLC and Cowen and Company, LLC acted as joint book-running managers for the offering. Canaccord Genuity Inc. and JMP Securities LLC acted as co-managers.
