During the annual Western Veterinary Conference (WVC), held Feb. 15 to 19, as a chosen speaker, Colorado cat veterinarian Dr. Jennifer Lavallee will have the opportunity to present and speak about Feline Renal Disease for 2 hours and Pearls from Feline Practice for another 2 hours.

"I am truly honored to be selected as a speaker at this year's Western Veterinary Conference," said Dr. Lavalle. "With nearly 15,000 attendees, this is an important opportunity to educate practitioners about advancements in feline health care, including renal health and general best practices for running a feline-only veterinary hospital. I am looking forward to speaking on both of these topics during the conference."

At Dr. Lavallee's Castle Rock hospital, the feline veterinarian focuses on providing unmatched feline care with an experienced cat care team. Many of her clients come from surrounding communities in Colorado Springs, Denver, Centennial, Parker and Highlands Ranch for this specialized feline care.

"We find that a cat-only environment really does make a difference for feline care outcomes," said Dr. Lavallee. "As the only Colorado cat veterinarian Board Certified by the American Board of Veterinary Practitioners, I am able to offer our feline patients an elevated level of care. Most importantly, our cats-only environment is calm and soothing – no barking dogs, sounds or smells of other species that can be upsetting to cats."

Colorado cat veterinarian Dr. Jennifer Lavallee is a frequent WVC conference attendee. Her practice, Cat Specialist Clinic in Castle Rock, is a cats-only facility that provides general cat wellness care as well as specialized veterinary services, grooming, and a kitty bed and breakfast. This specialized care includes treating feline hyperthyroidism with radio-iodine (I-131), the only cure for feline hyperthyroidism. The Cat Specialist Clinic is the only radio-iodine (I-131) treatment center in Colorado where your cat is monitored daily by a Board Certified Feline Practitioner.
