Diversicare Announces the Addition of Two Facilities


BRENTWOOD, Tenn., Feb. 2, 2015 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Diversicare Healthcare Services, Inc. (Nasdaq:DVCR), a premier provider of long-term care services, today announced the Company has acquired a 94-bed skilled nursing center in Glasgow, Kentucky, for a purchase price of $7 million. Additionally, in a separate and unrelated transaction, the Company assumed operations through a lease agreement of an 85-bed skilled nursing center in Hutchinson, Kansas. The center in Kansas has an initial lease term of 10 years and includes an option to purchase exercisable after the first year of the lease. Both acquisitions were effective February 1, 2015, at which time Diversicare assumed operations at both locations increasing the number of centers operated by the Company to 54. These facilities are expected to contribute in excess of $9 million in annual revenues.
