Hireology Achieves Record Growth in 2014, Builds Strong Momentum for New Year

Growing Customer Base, Expanding Team and Industry Recognition Among Hiring and Selection Technology Company's Key Achievements

CHICAGO, IL--(Marketwired - Feb 3, 2015) - Hireology, the leading provider of employee hiring and selection management technology for multi-location organizations, announced today details of its strong growth in 2014. During the past year, the company grew its client base, expanded its team, opened a new corporate headquarters and released new features that cemented its status as one of the industry's most innovative technology platforms.

Robust Growth

Hireology provides employers with a data-driven selection management platform that helps them make the best hiring decisions possible. The company experienced significant growth throughout 2014 as more employers across a wide range of industries looked for a solution to elevate their hiring practices. Overall, Hireology saw a revenue increase of 173 percent compared to its 2013 performance, and its customer base expanded by 78 percent over the previous year.

The company significantly increased its internal hiring to better meet the needs of its growing client base and to ensure the right resources are in place to create additional cutting-edge solutions. Hireology started 2014 with 19 employees and ended the year with 72, hiring additional talent in sales, marketing, engineering, product and operations. The headcount increase drove the need for a larger office space, leading Hireology to open its new corporate headquarters in December. The company now provides its team with a modern workspace more conducive to collaboration, while supporting future growth and expansion needs as the company continues to scale.

Expanding Product Offerings

Hireology's successful 2014 was accelerated with a $10M Series B investment from Bain Capital Ventures. The company is using the proceeds to drive its proprietary analytics and technology development to help more organizations transform their talent acquisition and selection strategies through a consistent hiring process.

In November, Hireology announced its latest product enhancement: an upgraded and enhanced phone screen guide providing employers with a robust solution to facilitate the phone screening process. The solution enables a consistent approach to phone-based interviews, with a script and guided questions to ensure hiring managers ask the right questions, as well as automated scoring that provides immediate results to make informed hiring decisions.

Industry Recognition

The innovation that Hireology brings to the talent technology landscape was validated by several high-profile awards throughout 2014. The company was ranked the No. 1 talent management technology provider in HRO Today's Baker's Dozen Customer Satisfaction Ratings for the second consecutive year. In addition, Hireology was named a Bronze Best Biz Awards winner in the Small Company category and a finalist for the 2014 Chicago Innovation Award. Hireology was also ranked in Brill Street's Top 50 Generation Y Employers in Chicago, highlighting the company's rewarding work culture and opportunities for professional development.

"The past year has been full of significant milestones, with Hireology growing from start-up to emerging leader in the talent technology market," said Adam Robinson, CEO of Hireology. "We remain focused on growing the company and delivering groundbreaking solutions that change the way companies identify, evaluate and hire great talent. As 2015 progresses and more companies turn to Hireology to transform their hiring processes, we anticipate continued growth and success."
