Multimedia Platforms Inc. Appoints Award Winning Media Veterans to Key Positions

FORT LAUDERDALE, FL--(Marketwired - Feb 3, 2015) - Multimedia Platforms Inc. (OTCQB: EAHCD) ('MMP') today announced the appointment of three key executives, Richard Hack: Editor-In-Chief of Guy Magazine in addition to being Publisher and Editor-in-Chief of Agenda newspaper, Daniel Hicks: Managing Editor, and Kevin Hopper: COO, to guide and support the company's current rapid roll-out phase. The company is targeting national distribution within a few months, based on its established expansion model.

Richard Hack, award-winning author and current publisher/editor-in-chief of The Agenda newspaper, has accepted the position as publisher of the company's South Florida entertainment and lifestyle publication, Guy Magazine. Richard Hack brings a wealth of credentials and experience to this new position. He served as the West Coast Programming Editor of TV Guide at a time when it was the largest magazine in the world (with 40 million readers and 50 separate local editions per week). Later, he served as the TV Editor for the Hollywood Reporter daily trade paper, producing 3,000 columns syndicated to over 600 newspapers across the country.

"Both the Agenda and Guy Magazine are moving to the forefront of LGBT politics, entertainment, social media, and opinion -- seamlessly merging Internet content (with its instant availability) with the traditional power of print (with its permanency and archive potential)," Richard Hack stated. "This media machine is only beginning to show its potential to empower the global LGBT community."

International journalist and network television news producer, Daniel Hicks, has been appointed Managing Editor, and will be responsible for setting up and directing Agenda News Bureaus in 21 regional hubs across the continental USA. For more than two decades, Daniel has covered political, business and entertainment content from Southern California for NBC News, NBC Today, NBC News Channel, MSNBC and CNBC. Daniel Hicks was awarded an Emmy nomination for breaking news of the Heaven's Gate tragedy in 1997, and in the autumn of 1998, he covered the historic national elections in Berlin, Germany as a correspondent for MSNBC.

"The essence of building a national news network is the construction of an ecosystem of national, regional and local affiliates that reflect a modern map of LGBT life in America," Daniel Hicks explained. "Plugging into this ecosystem enables information to flow among the hubs and between the hubs and the center of the network," Hicks added.

Kevin Hopper has been appointed MMP's Chief Operations Officer. Kevin Hopper has been neck-deep in the LGBT media industry since he helped launch The Express Gay News in 1999. He has helped establish a standard of journalistic integrity and investigative reporting that has become expected in the until-recently underserved LGBT news market. Kevin has run both Florida and Atlanta offices for several media companies. In 2010 Kevin joined Bobby Blair to create Florida Agenda, and Guy Magazine. His experience in sales, marketing and promotions combined with his eye for creative and editorial innovation have helped shape the brands and create value in the completive south Florida market. Kevin attended the Art Institute of Fort Lauderdale and American InterContinental University.
