(Nasdaq:RNET), a leading global provider of digital technology solutions to the oil and gas industry, today announced that Greg Burns has joined the Company in the position of vice president, human resources. In this role, Burns will oversee the Company's global human resources efforts that include building, maintaining and engaging the industry's best employee base.
Burns has had a successful career in human resources at firms as diverse in size as Schlumberger, Cooper Industries and MicroSeismic. Most recently, he served as vice president, human resources for MicroSeismic. In addition, he earlier served as human resources director at Cooper Lighting Division, and in a fifteen year career at Schlumberger, held a number of human resources positions of increasing responsibility. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Petroleum Engineering from the University of Alabama, and an MBA from Erasmus University's Rotterdam School of Management.
