In January 2015 AS Tallink Grupp transported 538 929 passengers which is a 4% decrease compared to January 2014. The number of trucks and trailers decreased by almost 4% to 23 702 units and the number of passenger vehicles decreased by almost 5% to 68 006 in the same comparison.

The following operational factors influenced the development in January 2015:
FINLAND-SWEDEN
In January the cruise ferry Baltic Princess did not operate for 6 days due to repair works.
ESTONIA-FINLAND
The cargo ferry Sea Wind started operating on the Tallinn-Helsinki route. The cruise ferry Baltic Queen did not operate for 11 days due to repair works, the vessel was not replaced during that time. In August 2014 the cruise ferry Baltic Queen started operating on the Tallinn-Helsinki route, replacing the cruise ferry Silja Europa.
ESTONIA-SWEDEN
In August 2014 the cruise ferry Romantika started operating on the Tallinn-Stockholm route, replacing the cruise ferry Baltic Queen.
LATVIA-SWEDEN
In August 2014 the cruise ferry Romantika stopped operating on the Riga-Stockholm route, the cruise ferry Isabelle continues operating on the route.
