On February 03, 2015, Meritus Trust Company Ltd., Hamilton, Bermuda has
informed us according to Article 21, Section 1 of the WpHG that via shares
its Voting Rights on K+S Aktiengesellschaft, Kassel, Germany, have fallen
below the 5% threshold of the Voting Rights on January 28, 2015 and on that
day amounted to 4.92% (this corresponds to 9424197 Voting Rights).
4.92% of Voting Rights (this corresponds to 9424197 Voting Rights) are
attributed to the company in accordance with Article 22, Section 1,
Sentence 1, No. 1 of the WpHG (German Securities Trading Act). Attributed
Voting Rights are held by the following companies under its control, whose
share of the Voting Rights in K+S Aktiengesellschaft amounts to 3 percent
or more: Linetrust PTC Ltd. (directly controlled by Meritus Trust Company
Ltd.), Linea Ltd. (directly controlled by Linetrust PTC Ltd.); EuroChem
Group SE (direct holder of voting rights and indirectly controlled by
Meritus Trust Company Ltd. via Linetrust PTC Ltd. and Linea Ltd.).
