The Glassware 2.0 support of Google Drive allows users to access virtual Microsoft® applications from devices such as Chromebooks, while maintaining their files in Google Drive. By simply choosing to "open" a file while in their application, the user will see their Google Drive account the same way they would see any other drive. By choosing "save as," their work can be saved back to their Google Drive account and users can continue to utilize the native capabilities within the Drive platform.According to Google, more than 240 million people were active Google Drive users as of October 2014.
