IT – Notification regarding NASDAQ Nordic Primary Data Center Move in 2016 (9/15)


This is an update to the earlier IT-Notice 34/14 in regards to a potential datacenter move. Nasdaq Nordic and Baltic have now decided to relocate the primary datacenter from Lunda, Stockholm.

WHEN

The move will be finalized during the second quarter of 2016. Client access to the new datacenter is planned for February 2016. Connectivity providers will be contacted well in advance of this date.

WHERE

The new datacenter will be located in Upplands Väsby, approximately a 15 minutes drive from Arlanda Airport, north of Stockholm.  Please see: http://www.digiplex.com/stockholm

WHY

The new datacenter is a modern Next Generation Datacenter purpose built for the Nasdaq service offering with

  • High power density
  • Tier 3 dedicated electrical and mechanical infrastructure
  • Easy access from Stockholm and Arlanda Airport
  • Green datacenter with state of the art cooling system delivering a PUE of 1.2
  • Carrier neutral facility with diverse telecom entrances

More details will be provided early second quarter of 2015 and onwards.
