MIAMI, Feb. 19, 2015 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Platform Specialty Products Corporation (NYSE:PAH) ("Platform"), a global, diversified specialty chemicals company, announced today that its subsidiary, MacDermid, Incorporated ("MacDermid"), settled a litigation in which MacDermid was the plaintiff, and Cookson Group plc, Enthone Inc., Cookson Electronics and David North were defendants (collectively, the "Defendants"). The litigation related to certain corporate activities that occurred between MacDermid and the Defendants in 2006 and 2007. The Defendants paid MacDermid an aggregate settlement of $25 million.
