PBMI Announces New Vice President of Research and Education


PLANO, TX--(Marketwired - Feb 23, 2015) - The Pharmacy Benefit Management Institute (PBMI), a national organization committed to research and education in pharmacy benefit management, announced the addition of Dr. Sharon Glave Frazee as its new Vice President of Research and Education. Prior to joining PBMI, Frazee was the Vice President of Research and Analytics for Express Scripts where she led research strategy and execution for one of the largest pharmacy benefit managers in the nation.

"Sharon's depth of experience in the PBM industry and leadership in the area of research and analytics will help us achieve our goal of expanding our research agenda in the pharmacy management industry."

Sharon has also held leadership roles in health and economic outcomes research, survey design, pilot and program design and evaluation, analytics and research consulting, advanced analytics and the development of predictive models at Walgreens, LabCorp and Landacorp. She was an instructor at North Carolina State University and provided evaluation research for various state and local government agencies before joining the private sector. Dr. Frazee earned her doctorate in Sociology from North Carolina State University and an MPH from the University of North Carolina - Chapel Hill Gillings School of Global Public Health. 

As the Vice President of Research and Education, Sharon will be responsible for developing and managing all research and educational efforts for PBMI.
