Incident.MOOG Applies Machine Learning to Detect Problems Earlier Across Applications, Services, and Data Center Infrastructures

This SolutionPak helps enterprises to better manage alerts from Microsoft servers and applications, contextualizing data with other elements in the IT environments to ensure that incidents are detected as they unfold in real-time. Microsoft reports that Windows Server holds around 75 percent of the market share for x86 server operating systems. Moogsoft's Microsoft SolutionPak integrates with Microsoft's System Control Operations Manager (SCOM) and extends Incident.MOOG's capabilities to this large audience of enterprise IT infrastructures that leverage Microsoft Exchange, Microsoft SQL Server, Microsoft Windows Servers and more.

Many complex incidents go undetected as a result of this process. Moogsoft is the first to develop an adaptor to ingest Microsoft SCOM events and alerts. With Moogsoft's Microsoft SolutionPak, IT teams can automate event data collection from across their IT stack into Incident.MOOG, then clean and contextualize the data into situations for faster identification of root cause. Once an incident has been detected, Incident.MOOG creates a "Situation Room" where appropriate IT operational stakeholders can come together and collaborate to resolve the issue quickly.

Incident.MOOG's Microsoft SolutionPak consists of a Link Access Module (LAM) for importing events and alarms from Microsoft System Center Operations Manager (SCOM). Additional LAMs are selectable the SolutionPak, including out-of-the-box integrations for:

  • Application performance monitoring (APM) tools, such as the AppDynamics LAM
  • Data center infrastructure monitoring (DCIM) tools, such as the SolarWinds LAM
  • Application log formats, such as the WinSyslog LAM
