Poulsbo Police Department Adopts Paladin's Cloud-Based Software for New Workforce Readiness Program

Poulsbo Police Department represents Paladin's first law enforcement implementation for ASMi software

POULSBO, Wash., Feb. 24, 2015 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Paladin Data Systems is proud to announce its first ASMi law enforcement client, the Poulsbo Washington Police Department (Poulsbo PD). Poulsbo PD will use Paladin's cloud-based Workforce Readiness Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) to track personnel readiness, performance, and qualifications for its police force.

ASMi is an easy-to-use, web-based software designed to provide management oversight and resource assignment support by customizing development and training of personnel for police, fire, military, and private sector personnel. ASMi enables law enforcement management to immediately assess the overall readiness of their police force, view complete up-to-date department and individual training capabilities, and provide competency information for day-to-day operations, incident investigations and emergency response.

Poulsbo PD will use ASMi to improve their department's personnel readiness by tracking individual and departmental performance, to plan training and professional development, ensure preparedness, and enable decision-making and resource deployment with confidence.

"ASMi is helping to modernize law enforcement by creating software which helps to manage personnel. This software effectively tracks officers training, certifications, and assignments throughout their careers, providing a tool for managers to deploy personnel based specifically on their experience and training. We are finding this to be a great partnership between our department and ASMI," Alan Townsend, Chief of Police, Poulsbo Police Department.

"We are thrilled to have the Poulsbo PD adopt ASMi's advanced capabilities. ASMi provides law enforcement organizations the ability to optimize their most valuable resource—their people. ASMi will help Poulsbo PD with Personnel and manning readiness which is the cornerstone of Police Force mission readiness," said Jim Nall, CEO of Paladin.
