With Music Festivals Getting National Attention, World Patent Marketing Is Singing a Different Tune with a Fashionable and Trendy Mobile App Invention

World Patent Marketing introduces mobile app invention and appliance Bangles, which makes geo-location and tagging during concerts and events not only fun but also much easier

NEW YORK, N.Y., Feb. 27, 2015 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- via PRWEB - World Patent Marketing, the world's fastest growing patent and inventor media services company, has announced the development of a new mobile app invention which will make concerts, music festivals, and other social activities more interactive than ever before.

Bangles, a wearable Internet appliance and mobile app hybrid is aimed at creating a better user experience at events. The device makes user picture taking an integrated part of the experience and makes it easier to catalog the pictures from the event. The mobile app invention was created by Samantha W. of Huntley, Illinois, and facilitates sharing of pictures and video with others who have attended the event.

"This will change the way people see and experience music festivals," says Scott Cooper, CEO & Creative Director of World Patent Marketing. "This takes concert picture taking to the next level. Pictures will be more easily shared and organized. Attendees will be able to see pictures taken and posted by other attendees, sort of creating a small community for those who were at that particular musical festival."

Music festivals have been getting more press lately with the participation of big-name musicians who have a huge following. Earlier in the news, former Beatles band member and musical Hall of Famer, Paul McCartney, confirmed his attendance to the Firefly Music Festival to be held in June. The musical icon will join Kings of Leon and the Killers as the headliners for the show, which has booked some 110 artists for the festival.

Tickets don't come cheap. A VIP pass with all of the accommodations and perks can go for as much as $1,999, and people are actually willing to pay good money for both the music and the experience of participating in these festivals. Wightman says her mobile app invention will make the festival attendees appreciate pictures and videos even more.

She explains that the concept of Bangles centers around the countless pictures posted on the Internet without being tagged for the event, date, or location. Bangles involves the use of a bracelet which serves as a storage device connected to a camera which also doubles as a scanner. The camera scans the bar code on the bracelet, which contains all of the information about the event or concert, including the artist, time and place. Pictures can only be taken during the music festival or concert. After the event, the pictures can be reviewed on the device, and, if the user does not like some of the pictures, they can be deleted. Once the pictures are on the mobile app invention, these are uploaded to the cloud and shared with other people who attended the event.

Explaining the motivation behind Bangles, Samantha W. says: "I want people to use the app to share their experience at the events they attend. I can also see this product changing the way people see music festivals and I want them to know there is so much more out there for them to see and experience."

World Patent Marketing's Cooper was also quick to add that besides serving a social purpose, this mobile app invention can have practical business applications as well.

"For the artists and organizers, they can grow their followers on the Internet much faster," according to blogger Mary Jane. "Bands that are just starting out can create a huge fan base in no time. Organizers can advertise the bands more easily, by using pictures that have already been taken before. They can also advertise on the app, while the pictures are being viewed, they can show banners of the show's advertisers."

Samantha W. further adds that "companies in the event and concert industry will benefit from Bangles, the mobile app invention, because people sharing their experiences on this app will cause positive publicity and encourage more people to want to go to more events or music festivals."

Regarding picture collation and event curation, Samantha W. explains, "Bangles solves the problem of mixed photos in the media. When someone goes to an event and wants to see pictures, they will know that the pictures on Bangles are from the event that they went to, not just labeled wrong on the Internet. This is because the bar codes on the mobile app invention will be specific to the event and only those at the event can post the pictures on the Bangles app."

Cooper admits that there are a lot of image collection and filtering apps nowadays. One recently launched app allows news organizations to go through the latest posts on a website, and contact the poster for a possible live feed video. This can be a stopgap measure to affect immediate coverage while a veteran reporter is en route to the news scene.

However, the popularity of apps and image posting on the Internet makes it imperative to properly tag pictures. Cooper explains that with the Bangles mobile app invention, the pictures are automatically tagged, and almost any additional information can be added prior to being uploaded to the Internet.

"So far, the use of hashtags have served as a de facto solution for filtering and curating. The problem with hashtags is that there are a lot of possible hashtags, and no single authoritative figure to suggest the hashtag. In addition, sharing is not an automatic option when these pictures are uploaded to websites like Facebook, Twitter, or Instagram. I am confident that our mobile app invention will be welcomed warmly by the music and entertainment industry," Cooper concludes.
