Highwinds Unveils New StrikeTracker CDN Console

StrikeTracker Leads the Way With Responsive Interface Design, Expansive API, Robust Analytics

WINTER PARK, Fla., March 2, 2015 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Highwinds® is pleased to announce the availability of its new StrikeTracker® console, which has been completely rebuilt from the ground up to deliver unprecedented functionality and scalability on any device. Highwinds has also completed a major overhaul of its customer support portal, and in the interest of transparency and community-building, its knowledge base is open for public consumption and contribution.

StrikeTracker is an award-winning console that provides a clear window into the capabilities and performance of Highwinds' content delivery network (CDN). This latest release was not only rewritten entirely in HTML5 for a dynamic and mobile-friendly user experience, but it was also built on top of Highwinds' RESTful API. As a result of this new API parity, any capability available within the user interface is also available within the API – making it easy for customers to unleash the full power of StrikeTracker from within their own workflow.

Major enhancements have also been made to Highwinds' highly acclaimed analytics. Users will discover greater granularity, new charts and graphs, and many more customization options in this version of StrikeTracker. These analytics continue to put valuable data at users' fingertips.

"In 2007, StrikeTracker was the first console to prove that CDN customers want complete content control and actionable analytics. It was the culmination of the tremendous insight available to us through our own global network, our software development pedigree and years of being tuned in to customer needs," said Steve Miller, founder and CEO of Highwinds. "While others have been busy playing catch-up, we've been reengineering StrikeTracker to be a game changer – again."

Highwinds is providing StrikeTracker demos this week at three different industry conferences: broadbandtvcon in Los Angeles, Digital Hollywood Media Summit in New York and GDC in San Francisco.
