The team understands the importance of home ownership and wants to help college students develop a plan to reach their goal of buying a home. For this reason, the company is pleased to offer the "MARK Z. Home Selling Team Scholarship Award".
Twice this year, The MARK Z. Home Selling Team will hold an essay contest to award a $2500 scholarship to one lucky student to put toward his or her tuition and fees for a total of $5000 awarded. While buying a home may be the last thing on college student's minds, MARK Z. knows that habits developed during this time period will play a substantial role in eventual ownership. If students can begin to devise and execute a plan for home ownership during their college years, they will be significantly further ahead of the game.
To be eligible, student's must be enrolled full-time in an accredited American university or college with a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher. There is no age requirement.
To apply students must submit a 400-600 word essay on the topic: How are you going to buy your first home? The company believes it is never too early to start thinking about home ownership and developing a plan to make the most important purchase of ones life.
The essay submission deadline is 12:00 midnight EST August 1st 2015 for fall semester and December 1st 2015 for the spring semester. Scholarships will be awarded August 15th 2015 and December 15th 2015. Essays will be reviewed by the MARK Z. Home Selling Team Scholarship Committee and the winner will be announced on the MARK Z. Home Selling Team website. The winner will also be notified via email.
