An array of launches from award-winning Doro at the GSMA Mobile World Congress in Barcelona

Doro has this week participated at the Mobile World Congress in Barcelona. The company has received a Global Mobile Award for “Best Mobile Device for Accessibility & Inclusion” and released two new mobile phones and a new service.

The Doro 820 Claria is an adaptation of our smartphone to make it suitable for the blind user. It comes with an accessory helping the user to locate his or her fingers on the pad. The product will be available in June.

Doro Connect & Care®
Doro Connect & Care® is an innovative mobile social networking tool applied to real life. It aims to help people stay better connected with their elderly relatives and also the other people who care about them too.  The service will facilitate the delivery of help and assistance – whether in an emergency situation such as a fall, or for a basic everyday household task, for example closing a window.

For family members, the service is extremely easy to use - there is an app which will be available for both Android and iOS smartphones. The service allows family members to create their own network of people willing to help provide daily care and offer assistance to their senior relative. 

Launch date is planned for June 2015.
