Voting rights: Release of Voting rights announcements according to section
26 (1) WpHG (Securities Trading Act) with the aim of a Europe-wide
distribution

By letter dated 4 March 2015 BlackRock Financial Management, Inc., New
York, NY, USA, notified us pursuant to section 21 para. 1 of the German
Securities Trading Act (Wertpapierhandelsgesetz) that on 2 March 2015
BlackRock Financial Management, Inc. exceeded the threshold of 5 percent of
the voting rights in Linde Aktiengesellschaft, Munich, Germany, and on that
date held 5.04 percent of the voting rights (9,364,006 voting rights).

2.31 percent of the voting rights (4,292,443 voting rights) are attributed
to BlackRock Financial Management, Inc. pursuant to section 22 para. 1
sent. 1 no. 1 German Securities Trading Act. 0.01 percent of the voting
rights (26,204 voting rights) are attributed to BlackRock Financial
Management, Inc. pursuant to section 22 para. 1 sent. 1 no. 6. 3.05 percent
of the voting rights (5,660,163 voting rights) are attributed to BlackRock
Financial Management, Inc. pursuant to section 22 para. 1 sent. 1 no. 6 in
connection with section 22 para. 1 sent. 2 German Securities Trading Act.
Please note that the total amount stated above does not necessarily equal
the sum of the detailed attributed holdings. This results from voting
rights having multiple attributions within the BlackRock group structure.
