YIT will construct a parking facility in connection with the Espoo’s Urheilupuisto metro station
YIT has signed a contract with Kiinteistö Oy Jousenpuiston pysäköinti to construct a parking facility in connection with the Urheilupuisto metro station in Espoo, Finland. The total value of the contract for YIT is nearly EUR 20 million. The construction of the project will start in spring 2015 and it will be completed in summer 2016.
The parking facility will consist of five levels, of which three will be located underground and two over ground. The gross area of the parking facility is approximately 30,000 square metres, and it will have 790 parking spaces. In addition to the metro connection parking, the facility will also serve the residents of the apartments that will be constructed above the car park.
