Rose Cosentino Appointed Director of Sales for Canada & Amanda Morris Joins as Eastern Business Development Manager


FT. LAUDERDALE, Fla. and ONTARIO, Canada, March 11, 2015 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Kevin Froemming, Chief Marketing Officer and EVP of Playa Resorts Management today announced two new appointments to its Canadian sales team. Rose Cosentino has joined Playa as Director of Sales for Canada, and Amanda Morris has joined the team as Eastern Business Development Manager for Canada. Ms. Cosentino will oversee the Canadian team which also includes longtime Playa Western Business Development Manager for Canada, Freddie Marsh. Playa Resorts Management is the operational management component of Playa Hotels & Resorts B.V. which owns and operates Hyatt Ziva, Hyatt Zilara, as well as THE ROYAL and Gran brands.

Rose brings more than 25 years of experience in the Canadian travel industry, having held a number of senior management positions with several Canadian companies including, most recently, Vice-President of Sales & Supplier Relations at iTravel2000, and General Manager at Huntington Travel. Rose's previous experience also includes National Director of Sales & Customer Care for Signature Vacations and National Manager, Canada for CWT Concierge.
