Raptor Pharmaceutical Reports Inducement Grants Under NASDAQ Listing Rule 5635(c)(4)


NOVATO, Calif., March 11, 2015 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Raptor Pharmaceutical Corp. (Nasdaq:RPTP) today announced that on March 9, 2015, the Compensation Committee of the Company's Board of Directors approved grants of inducement stock options to purchase an aggregate of 152,867 shares of common stock to six new employees and a grant of 10,714 Restricted Stock Units (RSUs) to one new employee, in each case, pursuant to the Company's 2014 Employment Commencement Stock Incentive Plan. The plan was approved by the Board of Directors under Rule 5635(c)(4) of the Nasdaq Global Select Market for equity grants to induce new employees to enter into employment with the Company. Each option has an exercise price per share of $10.86, the closing price on the trading date immediately prior to the grant date.
