Home BancShares, Inc. Awarded Raymond James Community Bankers Cup Award for Second Year in a Row


CONWAY, Ark., March 12, 2015 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Home BancShares, Inc. (Nasdaq:HOMB), parent company of Centennial Bank, announced they received a 2014 Raymond James Community Bankers Cup award. The Raymond James Community Bankers Cup awards recognized the top 31 community banks with assets between $500 million and $10 billion based on various profitability, operational efficiency, and balance sheet metrics. Of the more than 300 community banks across the United States analyzed for the awards, Home BancShares ranked in the top 10 of the Cup winners. Home BancShares, Inc. is a past recipient of the Raymond James Community Bankers Cup, having received the award for the second year in a row.

The Company has shown superior stock performance in the last five years. Among the group of Community Bankers Cup winners, Home BancShares ranked seventh in three-year return at a 148.2% return and fifth in five-year return at a 193.9% return. We significantly outperformed the NASDAQ BANK Index, S&P 500 Index and NASDAQ Composite Index in the three-year and five-year return categories.
