BOSTON, March 17, 2015 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Beazley, a leading specialist insurer of excess and surplus lines property risks, today announced the appointment of Ron Beauregard to head the company's E &S property team.
Mr Beauregard joins Beazley from XL where he led the company's surplus lines property division. He was instrumental in creating XL Group's surplus lines property platform, a strategy that saw the book grow to $75m in gross written premium from 2011.
In a career spanning two decades in property insurance, Mr Beauregard has held senior roles at prominent underwriting and broking businesses, including Aon, FM Global and Lexington.
