Talent Board Announces the Fifth Annual North American Candidate Experience Awards

Registration for Employer Survey Is Now Open; 2015 Program Expanded to Include Workshops and Second Annual Symposium

SAN FRANCISCO, CA--(Marketwired - Mar 18, 2015) - Talent Board, a non-profit organization focused on the promotion and elevation of the candidate experience, today announced that registration for the 2015 Candidate Experience (CandE) Awards is now open.

An annual benchmarking and recognition program, the CandE Awards was established in 2011 to evaluate how employers and candidates engage during the recruiting process and honor those organizations that meet the standard of candidate experience excellence. Companies headquartered in North America can begin the confidential and complimentary registration process at: http://bit.ly/2015CandEApply

Since its inception, the program has grown exponentially year over year; the 2014 awards included survey responses from more than 170 participating companies and 95,000 candidates, compared to 122 companies and 46,000 candidates in 2013. Research from the 2014 program is available in the eBook, "Candidate Experience 2014."

"The research collected over the last four years confirms that companies and candidates alike recognize the importance of candidate experience," said Elaine Orler, chairman and co-founder of Talent Board. "In opening up the fifth year of the CandE Awards, we invite North American companies of all sizes to participate in the program and join Talent Board in our mission to understand how employers and candidates engage during the recruiting process."

Through three rounds of evaluation, the CandE Awards assesses current recruiting practices by evaluating and validating the talent acquisition practices of participating employers. Round One is comprised of a multidimensional survey designed to capture a company's recruitment processes and practices that impact the candidate experience. Employers that register now will receive a unique link to complete the full survey with 5 business days of completion of the registration.

All participating employers that complete the first round in the process receive a complimentary Employer Benchmark Report. Those companies that wish to obtain feedback from their candidates and compete for the award are then invited to participate in Round Two. Companies that meet criteria for Rounds One and Two (which consists of a candidate survey) will be awarded a "CandE Award Winner" designation stamp. Winners will be advanced to the final round and asked about their company's unique approach to candidate experience through video interviews to be reviewed by a CandE Awards judging panel that will determine areas of distinction.

With Distinction honorees will be celebrated, along with all CandE Award winners, at the Second Annual Candidate Experience Symposium and Awards Banquet, being held September 30 - October 2, 2015 at the Hilton Hotel in Downtown Fort Worth, Texas. In addition, the program will launch a series of complimentary workshops titled "Candidate Experience 101." The first two workshops are scheduled for March 31, 2015 in the San Francisco Bay area and April 2, 2015 in the Los Angeles area.
