Ormat Announces Investor & Analyst Day March 31, 2015 in New York City


RENO, Nev., March 18, 2015 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Ormat Technologies, Inc. (NYSE:ORA) (the "Company"), today announced the Company will conduct an Investor Day, from 9 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. (ET) on Tuesday, March 31, 2015 in New York City.

Isaac Angel, Ormat's Chief Executive Officer, will lead the discussion around the Company's key strategies and market opportunity. Ormat's team including, Doron Blachar, Chief Financial Officer, Zvi Krieger, Executive Vice President - Electricity Segment, Bob Sullivan - Executive Vice President Business Development, Sales and Marketing and Patrick Walsh - Chief Geologist will also present and be available for a question and answer session.

Mr. Jamie Storrow, Managing Director of Northleaf Capital Partners will present at the event and provide his view on the recently announced equity transaction.
