RCMP are asking for the public's assistance to locate 15 year old Shelby-Lyn (Shelby) Paige MacKinnon. She was last seen by a family member on March 12th, 2015 at approximately 9 a.m. when she left her home heading to school. Shelby has not returned home, nor has she been in contact with her parents since.

Shelby is described as white, 5 feet 6 inches tall, 135 lbs, with blue/green eyes and currently has shoulder length brown hair, that she sometimes wears in a ponytail. She has braces and a piercing in her nose (photo attached). She was last seen wearing blue jeans and a hoodie.

At the present time there is nothing to lead police to believe that there is anything suspicious about Shelby's disappearance. However, there is a general concern for her well being and police need to locate and speak with Shelby as soon as possible. Police are asking anyone who has seen or spoken with Shelby since her disappearance to please call the Grande Prairie RCMP Detachment at 780-830-5701.
