The Executive Board of Tivoli A/S discussed and approved the annual report for 2014 at a board meeting on 23 March 2015.

The financial highlights for the Group are as follows:

  • Attendance figures: 4,478,000 visitors compared to 4,200,000 last year, equal to an increase of 6.6 %.
  • Revenue including tenants and lessees: DKK 1,244.0 million compared to DKK 1,144.8 million last year, equal to an increase of 8.7 %.
  • Revenue excluding tenants and lessees: DKK 861.9 million compared to DKK 735.9 million last year, equal to an increase of 17.1 %.
  • Profit before depreciation, amortisation and write-downs: DKK 146.0 million compared to DKK 125.3 million last year, equal to an increase of 16.5 %.

  • Profit before tax: DKK 56.4 million compared to DKK 42.6 million last year, equal to an increase
    of 32.4 %
  • Profit after tax: DKK 44.4 million compared to DKK 37.0 million last year, equal to an increase
    of 20.0 %

"A profit before tax of DKK 56.4 million is in line with the upward adjustment announced in January 2015, when a profit before tax of between DKK 50 and 55 million was anticipated," states CEO Lars Liebst. "The reason for this success is a combination of measures we have been working on for a number of years. 2014 was characterised by an unprecedented high level of activity, including more opening days and the celebration of the Roller Coaster centenary. This resulted in higher visitor numbers, and consequently, higher revenue.

We are pleased with the small increase in the proportion of tourists among Tivoli's visitors. Our surveys also indicate that visitors are extremely satisfied with their visits and happy to recommend us to others. We will continue to pursue these lines of development in the coming years."

Expectations for 2015
The weather and other external events can have a strong impact on Tivoli's business, and thereby on the profits for the year. Revenue in 2015 is expected to be slightly higher than 2014, at around DKK 900 million. The Group is expected to achieve a profit before tax in the region of DKK 50-60 million.

Tivoli opens on 1 April with a full cultural programme of both free experiences such as concerts and paid performances.

Yours faithfully,

Jørgen Tandrup

Chairman of the Board of Directors
