Cohen, Executive Vice President and Chief Diversity Officer of Comcast Corporation, will provide remarks at the organization's Gala, taking place during the USHCC Legislative Summit on March 26, 2015 in Washington, D.C. Each year, the Gala brings together business leaders and elected officials as the closing event of the USHCC's Legislative Summit - the organization's premier, bipartisan political advocacy event. Previous speakers have included CEO and Chairman of Goldman Sachs Lloyd Blankfein, Vice President Joe Biden, Democratic Leader Nancy Pelosi, Senator Rand Paul, and Senator John McCain.

As Executive Vice President of Comcast Corporation, David L. Cohen oversees the company's corporate communications, government, regulatory, public, and legal affairs, as well as corporate administration and community investment. In addition, Cohen serves as senior counselor to the CEO and as Comcast's Chief Diversity Officer, working to uphold the company's strategic objective to reflect the communities they serve. Prior to joining Comcast, Cohen served as Chief of Staff to former Philadelphia Mayor Ed Rendell, and played a leading role in working on the city's economic issues, all of which is chronicled in a Pulitzer Prize-winning book called, "A Prayer for the City."
