Quadrant 4 to Present at the North Carolina Center for Afterschool Program's "Synergy Conference" Showcasing the Firm's Cloud Based Education Exchange

Quadrant 4's Education Exchange Platform Will be Presented to Over 400 Sponsors and Decision Makers of After School Programs Focused on Expanded Learning and Personalized Instruction

ROLLING MEADOWS, Ill., March 24, 2015 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Quadrant 4 System Corporation (OTCQB:QFOR) is pleased to announce that the firm will be presenting at the North Carolina Center for Afterschool Program's (NCC AP) "SYNERGY Conference" which brings together leaders and solution providers in afterschool and expanded learning sectors for training and sharing of best practices. Quadrant 4 will be part of a panel discussing the topic of SCRATCHing The Surface: Introducing Academic Rigor through Fun in Expanded Learning Programs. The invitation is a result of Quadrant 4's unique approach to providing adaptive learning solutions through its cloud based exchange platform (qEDX). Quadrant 4 will showcase after school learning use cases for the kindergarten through 8th grade student population.

Explained Shekhar Iyer, President of Quadrant 4's Education Division, "Regarding our work with the NCC AP and as part of our STEM (Science, Technology, English, Math) initiative, we will be introducing the Quadrant 4 Educational Exchange Platform qEDX and the Brainchild suite of solutions as a supplementary learning tool for the K-12th grade population. Quadrant 4's cloud based education exchange platform addresses the needs of all learners irrespective of their grades, age or location by providing a robust set of learning tools based on proven analytics and adaptive learning technologies. qEDX is a comprehensive platform designed to introduce a series of applications for assessment and intervention as well as skill building and continued learning. In addition, through our Brainchild product line, we plan to launch a pilot program in one of the North Carolina school districts targeted at a select group of students in At-Risk population demographics."

After school and supplemental learning programs have received significant focus which have been tied into the Common Core educational initiatives. It is estimated that more than 10 million students attend afterschool programs, but for every child in a program, two more are waiting for a spot, according to a new national survey, "America After 3PM" from the Charles Stewart Mott Foundation, (http://www.mott.org/news/news/2014/20141020-America-After-3PM-Report).

Funding for these enhanced learning programs on the federal level, which has been rapidly rising, comes from such sources as the After School 21st Century Community Learning Centers initiative which provides $1.2B annually. In addition to federal sources there is funding coming from state and local initiatives, foundations and faith based organizations.

The Quadrant 4 delegation joining the panel include Ms. Mary N. Watson, former director of Exceptional Children for the North Carolina Department of Public Instruction, Dr. Morgan C. Wang, who has been doing pioneering work in Data Mining and Statistical Technologies for adaptive learning and Ms. Paula Ware who has spent over fourteen years in not for profit school reforms. These individuals all possess significant experience and are considered leaders in the education field focusing on academic program development and enhanced learning techniques.
