Nasdaq Clearing (“Nasdaq”) has published the annual summary 2014, covering the performance of the Nasdaq Salmon Index (“NQSALMON”) and actions initiated by Nasdaq to ensure its transparency and accuracy.

NQSALMON reflects the weekly spot price for fresh Atlantic Superior Salmon, Head on Gutted (HOG), and is calculated based on actual physical transactions reported to Nasdaq by ten index contributors.

In 2014, Kontali Analyse AS (Kontali) entered into agreement with Nasdaq as the external auditor for the NQSALMON. During 2014, Kontali has audited panelists representing more than 65% of the weekly volumes reported to NQSALMON. In their Audit report for 2014, Kontali indicates that the NQSALMON is a robust and reliable benchmark.
