The company is planning to adapt its operations in Finland regarding rail terminal services and forwarding services and in Russia regarding rail transport services. According to preliminary estimates, the need for personnel reduction is estimated to be 9 man-years in Luumäki, Vartius, Imatra and Niirala. In Russia the adjustment requirement is estimated to be 4 man-years. By these measures Nurminen Logistics is preparing for decreased paper export volumes by rail to Russia.
