OLAVI PENTTI, A SIGNIFICANT SHAREHOLDER OF LEMMINKÄINEN, PASSED AWAY
Mr. Olavi Pentti (b. 1951), a significant shareholder of Lemminkäinen, passed away on 2 April 2015 after a severe illness. Olavi Pentti owned 2,020,285 Lemminkäinen’s shares, which corresponds to 8.7% of the company’s shares and votes.
In a deed of gift signed on 4 January 2012, Olavi Pentti donated 1,964,480 Lemminkäinen shares to his daughter, Noora Forstén. As a result, the shares held by Olavi Pentti in Lemminkäinen Corporation reduced from 18.7 per cent to 8.7 per cent of the company’s shares and votes.
Olavi Pentti acted as a member of the Board of Directors of Lemminkäinen Corporation during the 1980’s.
