Rejlers signs contract with The Norwegian National Rail Administration regarding new terminal concept

The Norwegian National Rail Administration is set to take over the
responsibility of operating all of Norway’s freight terminals. They therefore
wish to secure competition for the operation of the terminals. Rejlers has been
commissioned to develop a terminal concept and to advise on the project’s
execution.
The agreement is valid for six years and involves Rejlers assisting the
Norwegian National Rail Administration in all phases of the project.
“The Norwegian National Rail Administration has placed great emphasis on
innovation to strengthen the competitiveness of freight traffic, and we are
therefore very excited to be involved in and contribute to the successful
development of the terminal services for rail transport in Norway,” says Dagfinn
Berge, Division Manager at Rejlers Railconsult.
“The National Rail Administration will now be putting a lot of effort into
strengthening the competitiveness of the freight traffic industry through the
competitive tendering of the terminal services. Rejlers fulfils an important
function in the task of achieving this goal,” says Bjørn Kristiansen, Traffic
Manager at the Norwegian National Rail Administration.
