OTTAWA, ONTARIO--(Marketwired - April 9, 2015) - On Saturday, April 11, 2015, Giant Tiger will celebrate the official opening of its new store in Timmins, ON.
The new Giant Tiger will be located at 1869 Riverside Drive. This location will offer approximately 16,700 square feet of selling space.
Doors will open at 8:00 a.m. after a ribbon-cutting ceremony. There will be speeches by local dignitaries, charity representatives and Store Owner Greg Kelso. Giant Tiger is proud to be connected and committed to the communities we serve. There will be a charity Round Up campaign with proceeds going to the O'Gorman High School Athletic Department.
It will be a fun-filled day with plenty of free activities for customers of all ages, including gift card giveaways to the first 50 customers in store, performances by Ireland Godard, and of course a visit from Friendly, the Giant Tiger! There will also be promotional giveaways and Giant Value product sampling during the celebration.
Giant Tiger Timmins will also be hosting a Princess and the Snowman Meet and Greet from 1:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m.
