NOMINATION COMMITTEE PROPOSAL FOR BOARD OF DIRECTORS


Stockholm, 13 April, 2015 – Millicom, the international telecommunications and
media company (Stockholmsbörsen: MIC), has been informed by the Nomination
Committee that in addition to Anders Borg, the Committee has also nominated
Odilon Almeida as new non-executive Director for election at the AGM to be held
on 15 May, 2015.
The Nomination Committee comprises representatives of Investment AB Kinnevik,
Nordea Investment Funds and AMF and AMF Funds.

The Nomination Committee further proposes the re-election of Paul Donovan, Tomas
Eliasson, Dame Amelia Fawcett, Lorenzo Grabau and Alejandro Santo Domingo as non
-executive directors, and Cristina Stenbeck as Chairman of the Board.

Mia Brunell Livfors, Dominique Lafont and Ariel Eckstein have informed the
Nomination Committee that they decline re-election.

Odilon Almeida is the President for the Americas and European Union Region at
Western Union, with responsibility for Western Union’s business across 98
countries, encompassing all of the company’s products and services in North
America, Latin America, the Caribbean and Europe. Odilon joined Western Union in
2002, and assumed his current position in 2014. Prior to joining Western Union,
Odilon held positions at FleetBoston Financial, The Coca-Cola Company and
Colgate-Palmolive, working in Brazil, Canada, Mexico and the United States.
Odilon is a graduate in Civil Engineering from Maua Engineering School in São
Paulo, Brazil and in Business Administration from University of São Paulo, and
also holds an MBA in Business Administration with specialization in Marketing at
Getulio Vargas Foundation, São Paulo. He complemented his education at IMD
Lausanne, The Wharton School, and Harvard Business School.

The Chairman of the Nomination Committee, Cristina Stenbeck, commented: “The
