FAIRFAX, Va., April 13, 2015 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- ManTech International Corporation (Nasdaq:MANT) has named John Dorman vice president and chief information officer (CIO) for ManTech Health, the company's federal health IT business unit. Dorman will oversee the development of ManTech Health's IT solution strategies and technology-focused services to improve healthcare outcomes for its clients, including the Defense Health Agency, the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services, and the Department of Veterans Affairs, among others.
Dorman is a proven health IT executive with more than 30 years of experience delivering comprehensive IT solutions to public and private sector concerns. He joins ManTech Health from Acentia, where he served as a vice president for defense health services. Prior to Acentia, Dorman held CIO, chief technology officer, and other IT management positions at Planned Systems International, Cogenz International, the U.S. Department of Agriculture, and Lockheed Engineering and Management Services Company.
Dorman earned his bachelor's and master's degrees in computer science from the University of Maryland and George Washington University in Washington, D.C., respectively.
