Caverion provides building systems worth over EUR 4 million for The Royal College of Music in Stockholm, Sweden

Caverion has signed a contract with the general contractor NCC AB to install heating and sanitation, cooling and electricity systems on the new campus of The Royal College of Music in Stockholm (KMH). The value of the contract is approximately EUR 4.3 million and it includes project management and project execution. The work on site is already underway and will be completed in 2016.

The Royal College of Music in Stockholm is a Swedish state university that specializes in education and research in music. The new campus is owned by the real estate owner Akademiska Hus and has a total surface area of approximately 21,000 m2. The project covers installations of sanitation, cooling, electricity and lighting in music studios, chorus halls and class rooms.

“The project is well under way and our cooperation with NCC and Akademiska Hus has been running very well ever since the start. This is an exciting project: Once completed, the campus will live up to the high standards of one of the country’s largest and most prestigious institutions for higher education in music,” says Johan Ström, District Manager at Caverion Sweden.
