ALISO VIEJO, CA--(Marketwired - Apr 20, 2015) - OCTANe, the technology economic development organization and startup accelerator dedicated to driving technology industry growth, enabling new company creation and new jobs in Orange County, is pleased to announce that Microsemi's President and Chief Operating Officer, Paul Pickle, will kick off the keynote addresses at the Technology Investor Forum on May 5, 2015. His presentation, titled "Security Solutions for the Internet of Things," will speak to the overall theme of the conference: "The Convergence of Everything." Following Pickle's keynote will be Walter O'Brien, CEO of Scorpion Computer Services and the real-life genius and inspiration behind the CBS television series "Scorpion." He will discuss how on-demand intelligence and technology can mitigate risk and solve complex problems, both on a business and personal basis. His firm is noted for their recent work in helping pinpoint the Boston Marathon bombing suspects through video forensics. Wrapping up the keynotes will be Orange County entrepreneur Hayes Drumwright, CEO of POP, Inc. who will recount his success in creating Trace3 in his talk, "How to Turn Your Last $100 Into $100 Million."
