TORONTO, ONTARIO--(Marketwired - April 21, 2015) - It is with heavy hearts that the Carpenters' District Council of Ontario (CDC) extends our deepest condolences to the family of one of our members who was tragically killed on a job site today.
The incident occurred while working on a new addition to The Gore Meadows Community Centre in Brampton just before 12:00 noon.
As a proud and skilled carpenter with a Red Seal Certification, he will be deeply missed by all those who knew him. Our sincerest thoughts and prayers are with the family, friends and co-workers affected by this tragedy. He has not been publicly identified at this time, so we cannot provide further information.
The Ministry of Labour has been called to the site and we offer our full support toward its investigation.
