Hires Derivatives Strategist to Fortify Client Facing Offering


NEW YORK, Apr. 22, 2015 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Macro Risk Advisors (MRA), a leading provider of global equity derivatives strategy and trade execution for institutional investors, today announced the growth of its Risk Strategy team with the addition of Ling Zhou as an Equity Derivatives Strategist. The addition of Mr. Zhou demonstrates MRA’s continued effort to offer exceptional and timely analysis of global market risk to its institutional investor client base.

As the firm expands its client base, the Risk Strategy group will create and offer cutting edge tools that help investors better understand market and trading risk.   Working directly with Mr. Chintawongvanich, Mr. Zhou will help to strengthen the analytics infrastructure that MRA utilizes to support its institutional clients and contribute to the overall growth of the firm’s analytical capabilities.

Prior to joining MRA, Mr. Zhou was an Assistant Trader at Susquehanna International Group where he traded Treasury securities and municipal bond ETFs on the fixed income desk and participated in the options market making education program.  Mr. Zhou graduated magna cum laude from Middlebury College with a BA in Mathematics and Economics.
