ALBANY, N.Y., April 23, 2015 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- CDPHP is once again among only a handful of Capital Region employers to be named one of the Best Companies to Work for in New York.
On April 21, 65 businesses from across the state gathered in Albany to celebrate their placement on the Best Companies Group list. DeCrescente Distributing Company (Mechanicville) was the only other large Capital Region employer to make the list this year.
In the small/medium employers category, LeadingAge New York (Latham) and Transfinder Corporation (Schenectady), were the winners from the Capital District.
Best Companies Group, in conjunction with New York State Society for Human Resource Management, based the award on CDPHP's workplace policies, systems, and practices, as well as a survey, which was open to all employees, that measures employee engagement. This is the seventh consecutive year that CDPHP earned the honor.
In addition to being named to the Best Companies list, CDPHP recently received the following honors:
