Valmiera Glass Group reaches new profit and turnover record in the first three months this year


One of the leading European glass fibre manufacturers Valmiera Glass Group has reached 32.70 Million EUR net turnover in the first quarter of 2015. It has increased by 4.13 Million EUR or 14% comparing with the results of the Group in first quarter of 2014. The consolidated net profit of the Group in the first three months of 2015 has reached 3.51 Million EUR and that is 77% more comparing with the results in the same period of 2014.

Also Valmiera Glass Group strengthened its position in the market and increased the production capacity at the first quarter of 2015. In order to maintain the Group’s boost and long-term growth in March 2015 was opened a factory of Valmiera Glass USA Corp. in the United States.

Considering the results for the first quarter of 2015 and the development tendencies Group management is confident to reach planned net turnover of the Group (127.7 Million EUR) and net profit (10.77 Million EUR) in 2015.
