Ximen Defines New Target on Its Brett Gold Project Vernon BC Canada

VANCOUVER, British Columbia, April 28, 2015 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Ximen Mining Corp. (TSX-V:XIM) (the "Company" or "Ximen") is pleased to announce that during 2014 the company conducted a biogeochemical survey to identify targets that may be under glacial cover and within the broad and strong magnetic low, which is found northeast of the Main Zone. By sampling the humus in the upper profile of the soil horizon over the broad magnetic low anomaly, the Company identified a strong linear multi element anomaly consisting of six epithermal associated trace elements.

The newly discovered anomaly is 500 m long, up to 250 m wide, and remains open to the north. It appears to represent a second-order structure that splays off the main graben-bounding fault. The structure is parallel to and located 1 km to the northeast of the Main Zone. Unfortunately, these results were not available prior to Ximen's 2014 drill program and the target remains untested by any drilling.

Chris Anderson, CEO of Ximen, commented on these results by saying, "This new biogeochemical anomaly is a high priority for follow-up in 2015. As we continue to evaluate all the results of 2014 work, I expect additional high quality targets to emerge for drill testing."

Samples were collected at 50 m samples on 50 m spaced grid lines over the mag-low anomaly, using an offset sampling pattern on adjacent grid lines. Samples were submitted to Actlabs, in Kamloops, for preparation and analysis by unashed ICP-MS.
