Elektrėnai, Lithuania, 2015-04-30 15:14 CEST (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- “Lietuvos energijos gamyba”, AB (company code 302648707, registered office at Elektrinės st. 21, Elektrėnai; the Company), informs that on 30 April, 2015 Vilnius Regional Administrative Court rejected the Company’s appeal on the resolutions of the National Commission for Energy Control and Prices “On the results of electricity generation market inquiry”, dated 07/08/2014, No. O3-757.
As it was stated in the Notification on material event of the Company, dated 7 August, 2014, by Resolution the National Commission for Energy Control and Price declared the Company as an undertaking having significant power in electricity generation market and placed obligations on the Company, starting from 1 January, 2015, in relations to the application of the prices and disclosure of the information on the regulated activities of the Company.
As it was noted by the Company, the electricity generation market inquiry is conducted under incorrect presumptions. Due to this, the Company appealed to the court the decision to declare the Company as an undertaking significant power in electricity generation market and to impose related obligations. According to the Company, the decision of the court is unjustified, therefore the Company, in accordance with the laws, will consider to appeal this decision of the court.
