Duluth Pack is giving back by launching new charity campaign

Duluth Pack has created a 25 Colors 25 Causes charity campaign and will be donating 5% of their online sales to 25 worldwide causes.

DULUTH, Minn., May 1, 2015 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- via PRWEB - Duluth Pack has announced that they will be giving back with a new website campaign called 25 Colors 25 Causes that will begin on Friday, May 1st. Duluth Pack, the United States' oldest canvas and leather bag and pack manufacturer, wants to do their part in finding cures for some of the world's most common cancers and illnesses. The Minnesota-based company doesn't want to stop there, though. "There are many causes that we can impact with donations," said Tom Sega, Duluth Pack President. "We find it heartbreaking that 25% of children in the United States don't know where there next meal is coming from. There are wounded soldiers returning home from combat and don't have the aid they need." That is why Duluth Pack has committed to donating 5% of the sales of their manufactured items to 25 different charities or causes.

"We are committed in doing our part in helping as many foundations as we possibly can during this campaign," said Abe Pattee, Duluth Pack's Marketing Manager. "Everyone at Duluth Pack has been affected by at least one of these causes, so we are motivated to help make a meaningful change."

Duluth Pack has made the concept simple. They have paired every color of material (canvas, leather and wool) with a cause or charity. For example, purchase a pink pack for $200 and they will automatically donate $10 (5%) to the Breast Cancer Research Foundation. Purchase a classic wool market tote for $180 and they will donate $9 to Not For Sale - a charity that fights to end human trafficking. If a customer buys multiple items in multiple colors, Duluth Pack will ensure that every cause will be given their appropriate donation.
